01. Intro to Group Study Sessions

Why Group Study Sessions?

There's a lot of content to cover in the course and team members often find it difficult to finish the course without accountability.

That's why Group Study Sessions are a great way to motivate team members to complete the course and work together to improve technical skills and knowledge.

How does it work?

Team members get together either in-person or over your video conferencing tool of choice to work together on the course.

At the end of each session, team members regroup to discuss the course material.

About Sessions

There are two types of sessions:

  • Regular Sessions: Team watches video lessons
  • Activity Sessions: Teams works on reading and activity assignments

All sessions are 1 hour and 30 minutes long. Actual time for completion may be longer or shorter based on the module and session worked on.

About this Guide

This guide is meant to be just that–a guide. Every team and organization is different, so customize this guide to the convenience of your team.

For example, instead of 2 video sessions a week, the work session can be self-study. Any discussions and questions can be posted in your dedicated team space in the Skiplevel community.
